They will dialogue on collective intelligence and clean language with the whole community, speaking live at the kick-off and closing events and also interacting with all countries and the community throughout the whole ICF on Tour, sharing thought-provoking ideas and views, asking powerful questions and co-creating with all countries and participants around the idea of enabling a better and more sustainable future as leaders and as human beings.

Each ICF on Tour event will be unique and will build over 2 months to an extraordinary collaboration, encompassing at least one of the four over-arching themes chosen for the occasion:

  • Creating a coaching culture in organisations

A growing number of organisations recognise the value in building a coaching culture that offers employees at all levels the opportunity to grow their skills, enhance their value and reach their professional goals. Still, questions remain: What does a successful coaching culture look like? How can organisations design a coaching culture that is impactful, sustainable and aligned with strategic goals? Our catalysts on this topic will explore these questions and more, so that organisations can better understand how to move to their next level and implement coaching in a powerful and effective way.

  • Executive leadership and entrepreneurial coaching

In just a few short decades, executive coaching has gone from a tool to correct the underperforming to the organisational development tool of choice for leaders and emerging leaders. Many organisations are turning to coaching to give employees the extra edge they need providing individualised and immediate feedback for today’s leaders.  Join our expert speakers to learn more about the emerging trends in executive leadership and entrepreneurial coaching

  • Scientific rationale as to why and how coaching works

Many coaches in the world are using various techniques and expertise to develop unique and powerful coaching, based on neuroscience, psychology and many other tremendous coaching approaches and tools developed the last decade.  Our dedicated speakers on this topic will demonstrate and share the ‘what’, ‘how’ and ‘why’ of what makes coaching work based on scientific rationale and research.

  • The power of coaching and its impact

Professional Coaching is proven to result in increased productivity, positive people and has a huge return on investment. This has been studied in depth and established through a number of ICF Global research studies over the last few years. The International Coach Federation invests each year into robust and rigorous industry research to demonstrate the highly effective nature of coaching. This supports the community of ICF professional coaches, and their clients, to stand tall, confident in with best knowledge of industry trends to inform their decisions.

An ICF press release shows the current number for members is over 25.000 and more that 16 000 are credentialed.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) the credentialing process is not a easy one and you need to have a solid knowledge in order to become an ICF accredited coach.

The coaching schools are growing the number of students year by year considering the fact that besides independent coaches, more and more the multinationals companies are willing to develop internal coaches. The question is: are all of them really delivering their promises?

If we look at the number of suppliers in Romania for example, there are just a few offering ACSTH programs (which means that the training hours included in the program are accredited by ICF). After this type of program you can start your portofolio accreditation journey (obtaining practicing hours, mentoring etc.).

A complete solution offering certification, which means integration of knowledge with practice and supervision according to ICF standards, which are called ACTP is hard to find as a one-stop solution.

For a simple reason: schools like this need a special curriculum, a number of accredited ICF trainers and at least one MCC (Master Certified Coach) to assess and approve certifications.

As an interested prospect for this new profession you will be bombarded by other non-accredited programs which copy structures and make all kind of affirmations, without any proven results.

Some examples are: alignment with a number of organizations, hours of practice for trainers that are not documented or registered, 12-15 years of experience in coaching, and so on…

In the corporate world it is well known and recognized the ICF golden standard for accreditation both for coaches and coaching schools, so if you will choose a new path it’s good to make sure you are receiving the value you deserve.

Please check our accredited programs page to see this autumn new series.

Accessing the next level

In coaching, there is no elevator to take you from a level to another, just by pressing a button. I recently had a conversation with my colleagues in the organizing committee for the 2014 International Coach Federation (ICF) global conference in Malmo (Sweden). One of my team mates expressed her eager will to get to the next level and become a Master Certified Coach (MCC). She’s been a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) for over four years now and she’s already on the right inspirational path. But it isn’t an easy step.

Lately I keep meeting professionals who, just like her, stepped into the fascinating world of coaching a few years ago. But, for some reasons, they are at a dead end, stuck in a reality they can’t escape.

One of the symptoms is the lack of clients they need in order to turn their job into a full-time business.

And, there’s also the eternal discussion about what coaching is and how much it costs, although the focus should be the clients and their RESULTS.

What’s behind these distractions? Oftentimes, coaches just keep doing what they’ve learned in school. This way, everybody talks kind of the same language, has kind of the same working style and prospects kind of the same clients.

Which, one must admit, isn’t really the best recipe for success. This way coaches offer quite the same service and there are small chances to adapt themselves to the market’s needs and wishes.

Clients desire to access different kinds of services. Each of us struggles with a special problem: whether it’s personal or business-related. Many coaches aren’t prepared for this kind of approach, when the uniqueness of the client must be understood and the coaching conversation should be shaped around it.

In the three supervision groups for coaches that I have conducted until now I noticed and measured precisely the moment when the paradigm change occurs. Surprisingly (or not!), this moment is each time related to understanding the key element of a session. Which is either the profoundness of a conversation, or the instrument or process you can use to reframe it.

This leads us to the renowned “power tools”. Few know about them, and even fewer use them.

So if you have the impression that you are walking in a circle with your client, or maybe the client said you were “OK” at the end of the session, you can make a choice. You can be happy that you reached the lower level the acknowledging process or you can access the next level and reach concrete results with your clients.

Going back to my colleague from the organizing committee, I totally agree with her on leveling up. In Romania, the situation is the same. But we barely reached the first accreditation level. And there’s no elevator to instantly take us to the next one. Maybe a path, at most. Would you dare to try it on instead?

Locatie: Profiles International – Sevastopol, nr 17

  •  Cel putin un mod eficient de a gestiona si atenua situatiile de stres;
  •  Noi moduri de rezolvare a problemelor;
  •  Vei pleca energizat, vei aborda problemele si tensiunile intr-o maniera deschisa, dintr-o pozitie detasata si dagajata;

Structura programului:

  • 2,5 ore coaching de grup;
  • Bonus: la alegere-1 sesiune de coaching individual sau aplicarea unui test de evaluare din care va reiesi stilul personalitatii tale cu locul tau actual de munca si nivelul stresului actual (testul include si un raport de evaluare detaliat si include o sesiune de feedback);

Acompanierea tranzitiei manageriale

In acest context, coachingul este foarte valoros, deoarece are o contributie in autoconstientizare si in actiunea responsabila, avand in vedere intregul sistem/organizatie dar si avand o buna aderenta din punct de vedere emotional.
