Daiana Stoicescu in Cluj: How to Get the Most Out of Your Coaching Experience

International Coaching Week (ICW) is an annual weeklong global celebration of the coaching profession. ICW 2018 is scheduled for May 7-13, 2018.

During this week, coaches around the world offer a variety of activities and pro bono services in their local communities to enable others to Experience Coaching and its benefits firsthand.

ICF Romania is offering the opportunity to #ExperienceCoaching with professional coaches which are focused on providing pro-bono coaching to members of organisations, non-profits, universities, chambers and other institutions. We are aiming high and we want to commit to offer a great coaching experience.

Join us on Tuesday, the 8th of May, 9.00-12.00 in Cluj, Pink Room, Intesa Sala Training, when Daiana Stoicescu – PCC and ICF Romania President will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about coaching.

Daiana will invite you to an open conversation about what professional coaching is, how can you determine if professional coaching is right for you, what are some typical reasons someone might work with a coach, how is coaching delivered, what does the process look like.

Sometimes the best way to learn how to do something is by learning how not to do it. With that idea in mind, she comes to Cluj, to meet you all, and share with you 14 examples of bad coaching. As you probably already know, coaching is partly the process of asking powerful questions, to help the client deal with a challenge and improve. The coach works in partnership with the client to concentrate on certain issues, being focused, attentive, and reflecting back what has been heard. The coach offers suggestions only as a last resort and only with permission. We will dive deep in what BAD COACHING IS and #Experience Coaching in the moment.

DaianaStoicescuDaiana Stoicescu is an executive coach for leaders, with a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) Credential by the International Coach Federation (ICF), a Master Certified Coach Trainer (MCCT), Coach Supervisor and a Registered ICF Mentor Coach. She is also the President, Communication Director and Member of the Board of Directors of the ICF Romania Chapter.

As a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), she works with leaders-from startup entrepreneurs to C-level executives- who have bold visions and who play for high stakes.

As a Master Certified Coach Trainer (MCCT) with the Center for Executive Coaching (CEC) she is Certified to train other executives and managers to become Certified Executive Coaches. She does this through one-on-one or group coaching and under the review and standards of the Center for Executive Coaching.

As a Certified Mentor Coach by ICF, she is certified to offer mentor coaching programs for coaches interested in applying or renewing their ACC (Associate Certified Coach) or PCC (Professional Certified Coach) Credential and need the required 10 hours of mentoring.

As a Coach Supervisor she works with leaders and entrepreneurs that take their work seriously enough to set up a reflective space where they can review that work, learn from it and apply that learning when they return to it. She also works with coaches who bring their work to another individual/or group in order to learn how to do that work better. One way of describing what coaching supervision does is to think of it as a process of Reflection, Insight and Support.
